Rudravart Mahadev Temple

Category Religious

The unique and only temple of Lord Shiva is situated at a distance of about 7 kilometres from Chakratirtha, where Shivling is not visible. This place is known by the names “Rudravart Tirtha” and “Rudravart Kund”. The Rudravart temple is rare and unique evidence of the miracle of Mahadev, which astonishes even scientists.
On offering five fruits in the temple kund, two – three fruits return, while the rest get accepted as an offering in the water, which is a miracle. People believe that in the depth of the river, in Patalpuri, there is a Shivling of Lord Shiva, because of which such a miracle happens. People have witnessed this phenomenon of faith in the Naimisharanya pilgrimage for ages
Baba Shri Ram Pujari established one temple beside the Gomti river. Shivling is 10 inches high and brown in colour in 2 feet area. This is Swayambhu Shivling
There are only a few shops in front of the temple, which the local farmers and their children set up. One must visit this temple while visiting Naimisharanya. The calm atmosphere and the banks of the Gomti river will fascinate one and all.
